With 22 years of experience in the event industry, Neil operated his own freelance event management business from 2005 to 2019, primarily serving the pharmaceutical sector. In 2014, Neil established The Delegate Wranglers community to facilitate the sharing of extensive information, expertise, and experience among its members. 

This community aims to assist with finding solutions for buyers and generating business leads for suppliers. Over time, the group has organically grown to include over 25,000 highly engaged members globally. It facilitates the exchange of millions of pounds in business each month, along with valuable connections, advice, and information. The group stays well-informed about the industry's latest trends and developments. Since 2020, it has achieved 'Facebook Official Community Managed Partner' status, and in 2021, it was selected for the Facebook Community Accelerator Program.

In recognition of his contributions, Neil was named M&IT Magazine's Personality of the Year in 2019 and was the runner-up in 2021. More recently, he was listed as one of Northstar Meetings Group's most influential event professionals of 2024. Additionally, Neil has been an active board member of mia since 2023.
