Jason Chan is a co-founder of Cinewav and a filmmaker with over 15 years of hands-on experience in the film industry from writing, producing, directing, editing, composing, sound design, mixing and distribution. His startup Cinewav is a patented, scalable and personal audio system that allows that allows users to watch a movie on a big screen and listen to the audio on their mobile phones and headphones (perfectly in sync). This replaces speakers, scaling to as many users as needed and eliminates noise pollution allowing the activation of novel movie venues. The technology has since been used for many other applications including Vivid Sydney (world's largest light festival), Sydney NYE fireworks, Danang Intl Fireworks festival and hundreds of movie outdoor movie screenings.
