Blansfield manages Northstar Travel Group’s global meetings and sports brands and events businesses across all platforms. In addition to managing the business and financial operations of the Meetings Group, David oversees all buyer/supplier relations and programs. 
Blansfield has extensive event management experience, having overseen a portfolio of independent B2B and B2C tradeshows and conferences, both as president of F+W Media, and before that, as senior vice president at Penton Media.  
Blansfield holds a BS in Journalism from Boston University’s College of Communications and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
