The Meetings Show Asia Pacific Expands Team with Appointment of Nelson Khoo as Event Director

Singapore, 16 October 2024 – After a highly successful debut earlier this year, The Meetings Show Asia Pacific has strengthened its team with the appointment of Nelson Khoo as its new Event Director. This strategic hire comes as the show looks to build on strong momentum and capitalize on significant interest from new and returning exhibitors ahead of the 2025 edition, which will take place on 16-17 April at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. 

Nelson brings over 16 years of experience in the events sector and officially took on the role in September. As Event Director, he will be responsible for shaping the overall program development, ensuring alignment with global standards, while driving innovation and growth across the Asia-Pacific region. His focus will include uniting and coordinating the efforts of teams working across three continents to deliver an elevated experience for exhibitors and attendees alike. 

Before joining Northstar, Nelson served as Head of Events for Southeast Asia at CWT Travel Services, where he successfully managed a diverse portfolio of events, including large-scale conferences with thousands of delegates.
