Japan National Tourism Organization to Participate at The Meetings Show Asia Pacific 2024
Singapore, 9 April 2024 – Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Singapore Office is excited to be participating at the inaugural edition of The Meetings Show (TMS) Asia Pacific (APAC) 2024! It will be held from 17 to 18 April, 0900hr to 1800hr, at level one, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. Meet the JNTO team at Booth G02!
TMS APAC is a business-to-business trade event which is owned and organised by Northstar Travel Group. It is also supported by the Singapore Tourism Board. The event will present a variety of Asian and international destinations, venues, hotels, technology providers and key suppliers in the fast-growing Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events (M.I.C.E) industry from this region. It offers a combination of a trade exhibition, conference, pre-scheduled business meetings and networking opportunities for the M.I.C.E professionals from APAC. Sustainable Japan for Business Events
Japan has a national plan to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It was adopted by the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit held in September 2015. Local governments and private companies are committed to the cause. Areas of special focus include carbon neutrality, energy-saving, renewable energy, and the reduction of food loss. Number of Singaporean Visitors to Japan from January to February 2024
According to the JNTO statistics of Visitor Arrivals, there were 36,900 Singaporean visitors who travelled to Japan in February 2024. As compared to 27,078 visitors in February 2023, there was a growth of 36.3%. In comparison of the total numbers for January to February in 2024 and 2023, there was a total of 71,000 and 53,736 visitors respectively. The total growth rate was 32.1%.
