One of InterContinental® Phuket Resort’s priorities is the local environment stewardship for the land and the sea to protect our home and look after the beautiful nature of Kamala beach which is one of Phuket remarkable tourists’ destinations.
In 2023, PROUD Kamala's License to Clean 001 programme successfully reduced 36,836 KgCO2eq of carbon emissions from a total of 43,337 KGs of waste. While, from January to June 2024, it reduced 15,028 KgCO2eq of carbon emissions from 17,680 KGs of waste.
